Your Role, Your Team and Your Career Path

Reporting to the CRAB Analytics Partners, you are responsible for managing the entire operational back-office activities to support CRAB Analytics customers. This can include supporting analytics, preparation of presentations and reports and a host of other, potential tasks.

The intent is to gradually expose you to all aspects of our business and move from a wide base of experience of the company to being able to manage your own customers and projects.

CRAB Analytics will support your professional development, based on preferences and abilities. Starting in a supporting/back-office function, you can become the face to the customer as part of a project team and, over time, start managing your own account(s).

Your Day to Day

Predominantly work from home office or at a customer location, if necessary.
Support operational tasks as required by the partners such as additional support for customers, analysis, sourcing, creation of presentations, reviewing and drafting scopes of work, RFQ’s contracts.

  • Support brainstorming process with the customer to identify needs and requirements which need to be translated into process steps and an offer.
  • Project plan for implementation and execution of the scope of work
  • Administrative tasks of the company e.g., billing, invoices, action tracking etc
  • Support with operational tasks for clients
  • Undertake consultancy operational work as per the identified scope of work.
  • Supporting with analytical evaluation and administration

Attend customer meetings as required

Your Profile

Qualifications / Education: Engineering and/or business administration degree or equivalent experience in a highly agile environment
Specific background, work experience and competencies to be successful in the role:

  • Supply chain, procurement, or operational purchase position in a corporate environment with at least 3 years’ experience in aerospace desirable.
  • MBA or second degree desirable.
  • MS Office, communication, and presentation skills mandatory.
  • Contracting, negotiating skills desired.
  • Languages: English, German mandatory; French desired.


Personal Skills:
  • Demonstrate cross-functional skills within the company as well as with all the required roles of the supplier
  • Excellent analysis, evaluation and presentation skills with a drive to challenge the status quo – applying value engineering, cost analysis and keen implementer with developing/deploying roadmaps for quality, cost, volume, etc.
  • A strategic thinker with sound technical skills, analytical ability, good judgment, and strong operational focus.
  • Must be a proactive, open, and effective communicator who engages comfortably and credibly with all levels of the customers organisation. Acts with a high sense for urgency when required utilising a real time network across the globe.
  • Eager to learn and adopt their style to a start-up environment; puts the customer first; robust and passionate to follow given objectives; uses failure as learning experience; excellent communicator; ability to facilitate workshops.

The ability to distil lots of information into a clear understandable plan, that a whole organisation can understand.
